Create ESS Account

The Create ESS Account allows an employee to set up an account that will access employee related information.  This page is used to set up a new account or to reset an account after a employee has forgotten their password and requested a new one. See Forgot Password help for more info on requesting a new password. We setting up a new account the following information is needed: Employee ID, PIN, Last 4 of your Social Security Number, Zip Code.

 

Refer to the following fields and descriptions

User Name:  

Type in a user name that you will remember.  After completing the user setup you can use this or your Employee ID to log into ESS.

Employee ID:

This is the Employee ID assigned to you by your payroll department.

PIN:

A PIN (Personal Identification Number) will be provided to you by your payroll department.  This is a temporary password and will be overwritten by the new password set up in this process. If this field is not visible, a PIN is not required to set up an account.  This PIN is generated in CYMAIV - Payroll - Maintain Employees.  See the CYMA help for more information  The PIN requirement can be configured in the web.config file.  See Installation Guide for more information.

New Password:

Enter a new password into the New Password field.  NOTE: Passwords must be between 8 and 20 characters, have at least one capital and lower case letter, one number and one special character (@!*#-$%^()&+=)

Confirm Password:

Reenter the new password into the Confirm New Password field.  

Last 4 SSN:

Enter the last four numbers of your social security number.

Zip Code:

Enter the first 5 numbers of the zip code you provided to your employer.  

 

Click the Create User button to complete the process and return to the login page.

Click the Cancel button to cancel the process and return to the login page.
